We are at the dawn of a new “day” with our understanding about migraines. The “day” when migraines were thought to be JUST a bad headache and that it’s sufferers were considered weak, complaining, pill-popping addicts is coming to a close.
More and more concerned headache neurologists, and other practitioners, are more committed to learning about and understanding this crippling, neurological, disease via research and genuine interest in their patients.
As a community, we’ve learnt to educate ourselves, listen to our bodies, question our doctors and spread awareness.
As we continue to fight along with genuine, HEALTH-CARE providers, the sun will gracefully make it’s way into the darkened sky, removing the traces of ignorance from “yesterday” and hopefully our pain along with it.
