Hope Found In Nature – MHAM Blog Challenge Day 13

Today’s prompt: What in Nature Brings You Hope? Tell us what things in nature bring you hope and why.

The beach always refreshes and restores me. Maybe because it brings back fond memories of my family and me building sandcastles, burying each other and frolicking in the waves. Below is a poem I wrote and posted on this blog on August 30, 2013; I don’t think I could explain it better than this:

Therapeutic Sea

Turquoise waves meet crystal blue skies,

And my tiny toes.

Salt, scented, breezes aerate my lungs,

And whisk away emotional wounds.

Frothy,

Playful,

Ruffles,

Splash life into every fiber.

Tossing,

Caressing,

And healing.

Sun-kissed I leave,

Refreshed,

Calm

And whole.
